What is a Tester?

The role of a Tester in the team is to find bugs, or issues within the client and report them to the developers. You may find yourself reporting game crashes, mods that do not work as intended or helping other testers check problems within the client.


A typical day for a tester involves the following:

  • Checking the Discord for announcements and/or new features to test

  • Communicating with other testers/developers to fix bugs

  • Reporting bugs

  • Attempting to break the game

  • Playing the game


Requirements

  • At least 14 years old

  • A team-orientated mindset

  • At least a few hours a week can be put toward testing

  • Good communication

  • In-depth knowledge of the Silent Client

  • Detailed application

  • BONUS: High level in (a) specific game mode(s) (e.g. Bedwars, Skywars)
